Djunaid Oozeerally is a dual-qualified Barrister of England and Wales, and Mauritius, with a strong specialization in intellectual property law. A scholar of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), he holds an LL.M in Intellectual Property Law from Ankara University through WIPO’s prestigious joint program. Djunaid’s legal career is distinguished by his dedication to defending and managing complex IP matters, including trademark and patent litigation.
He has successfully advised on trademark revocation for a renowned UAE company and led multiple trademark infringement cases, such as defending the intellectual property rights of a global pet food manufacturer in India. His comprehensive experience includes assisting multinational clients on disputes involving trademarks, patent claims, copyright issues, and more.
Djunaid has also contributed as Junior Counsel in high-profile cases, demonstrating his capability in legal research, strategic advice, and courtroom advocacy. His previous roles at top-tier law firms further cemented his expertise in managing IP portfolios, drafting legal documents, and ensuring compliance with complex regulations.

With over two decades of extensive experience in legal practice, Parwaiz is a seasoned barrister with a strong focus on litigation and courtroom advocacy, particularly in the field of Intellectual Property (IP) law. His career has been marked by a dedication to upholding justice and protecting clients' rights across various legal areas, with an emphasis on IP litigation.
Currently practicing in Mauritius, Parwaiz represents clients in complex legal proceedings, handling cases in the Intermediate and Supreme Courts, specialized tribunals, and other forums. His professional expertise includes conducting both civil and criminal trials, leading intellectual property litigation, and chairing disciplinary committees. This diverse legal background equips him with a nuanced understanding of courtroom dynamics and strategic legal planning.
Earlier in his career, Parwaiz honed his prosecutorial skills as a Probation Prosecutor and Acting Senior Probation Prosecutor with the National Probation Service (NPS), managing substantial caseloads, prosecuting high-stakes trials, and leading pivotal projects, such as the Unpaid Work Extension Project in London. This period of service sharpened his analytical abilities, negotiation expertise, and comprehensive understanding of enforcement procedures.
